About EchoLink
EchoLink connects amateur radio repeaters and simplex stations over the internet. You can connect using RF through a local EchoLink node or directly via computer software.
โข Node Numbers: 4-6 digit numbers that identify each station
โข *ECHOTEST*: Node 9999 - Test your audio and connection
โข Conference Servers: Multi-user chat rooms (usually 3-digit numbers)
โข RF Nodes: Connect via radio to access the EchoLink network

Via RF (Radio)
- 1. Find a local EchoLink-enabled repeater
- 2. Access the repeater normally
- 3. Send DTMF tones to connect to nodes
- 4. Use # to disconnect, * for commands
Via Computer
- 1. Download EchoLink software
- 2. Validate your license with EchoLink
- 3. Connect to nodes directly via internet
- 4. Use headset/microphone for audio
