📡 VU Repeater Directory
Experimental — added August 2026
Operators report whether a repeater worked, so the directory shows more than a listing.
Where your input goes:Your callsign and report are stored on the site and shown publicly beside that repeater.
It is being tried out, so it may change or be withdrawn. If it does something odd, tell me — that is what this stage is for.
Frequencies, offsets and tones for amateur repeaters across India, with the nets that meet on them. Seeded from the list compiled by VU2JOS at NIAR, Hyderabad, and kept current by operators reporting what they actually hear.
📋 How this directory is maintained
• Repeaters listed should be operational and open to the amateur community.
• Frequency coordination follows the VU band plan.
• Contact details are for coordination and technical issues.
• Digital entries include network IDs and talkgroups where known.
Where this comes from: the starting list was compiled by VU2JOS at the National Institute of Amateur Radio, Hyderabad. It is no longer only that list — operators add on-air reports, and corrections are folded in as they are confirmed, so entries drift away from the original over time. Anything wrong is ours to fix, not NIAR's: tell us or use the report on any card.
